One of my children's favorite snacks is the granola bar, whether it's for school or at home. However, upon examining the labels, I noticed that those available in stores were often high in sugars and frequently contained nuts, which posed a problem for school. Being naturally curious, I embarked on a quest for the "perfect" granola bar. After a few attempts, I finally crafted a recipe that garnered unanimous approval from the whole family. I'd like to share this recipe, which, in addition to being easy to make, keeps well – at least as long as they don't disappear too quickly :D You can customize them by adding dried fruits, chocolate, and many other ingredients. The possibilities are endless!
Granola bar
Perfect for a snack at home or at school
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup floor
- ⅓ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup pumpkin seed kernels
- 2 Tbsp. melted cocoa butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- ⅓ tsp. cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 325 ° F (160 ° C)
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients. The mixture is very sticky that's normal.

Press the dough to give it the shape of your pan
Bake for 20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned,
Cut it, let it cool. Then enjoy!

You can keep them in a airtight container or freeze them.
